Healthy Early Years London Award
Barnet Hill Academy has achieved membership of Healthy Early Years London (HEYL); an awards scheme funded by the Mayor of London which supports and recognises achievements in child health, wellbeing and development in early years settings. As part of the scheme children will learn about healthy eating, oral and physical health and supported with early cognitive development through a range of activities.
Supporting students from Middlesex University
Barnet Hill Academy is proud to be working as an educational partner with Middlesex University London as part of its ITE (initial Teacher Education) programmes supporting teachers studying to become Qualified Teachers.
EYFS Improved Play Area
There has been a great deal of work taking place in our EYFS outdoors area and playground. Our huts, outdoor senior girls toilets and outbuildings have all been removed and replaced with an entirely newly laid lawned area. We're continuing to develop the outdoors area for our youngest learners and are looking forward to eventually welcoming back the Baby and Toddler Club also
