The Year 1 and 2 had a great visit to our Local Mosque, Hendon Mosque and Islamic Centre. They were welcomed by the Imam and Headteacher of the Mosque, Shaykh Yusuf, who gave them a brief talk about the different features found in a Mosque and its purpose. They also had a tour around the mosque and ended their session with a workshop where they were able to see different Islamic items that are used by Muslims in their daily life.
