Children in Year 1 have learnt ways of measuring. They discussed the purpose of a 30cm ruler. They measured many items. Table, board and the computer. They used units of measurement with cubes. They guessed and estimated how many cubes we need to measure the line. There after used cubes to gather the correct result.
