As part of Year 6's topic 'A Child's War', the children were tasked with making a model of an Anderson shelter from the Second World War. Each group chose their own design using household materials to create their model. As part of the design specification, they had to pay attention to what they would have looked on the inside as well as the outside, for example camouflaging the roof and adding basic furniture inside.
