Year 2 - Making Cardboard Castles!
Last week, our Year 2 students had made crowns out of cardboard, and this week, they took the time to craft their own replicas of the historical architecture. Some beautiful palaces during the Tudor era include Hampton Court, Lambeth, Linlithgow and so many others! And our students had such a great time learning about them, and creating their very own royal homes!
Green Space and Education
A very interesting study led by UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, finds that the lack of green space can negatively impact students' education. This includes their risk-taking and decision-making. At BHA the sole aim of our new Peace Garden project is to bring our students an optimal environment for learning, interacting and more!
Year 4 - Science Experiment
Did you know that teeth are the hardest substance in the body? That's right, teeth are even stronger than bone! And that's why keeping them clean is so important. This week, our Year 4 students were exploring tooth decay using egg shells and after their experiment, our students also drafted detailed analyses on their findings. There's definitely some future dentists in the making!
Year 5 - A Special Visitor
Today children in Year 5 received a perfect opportunity to practically explore their learning about their current topic of 'Beast Creators'. Science really came to life with the caterpillars that have arrived in the classroom! And our students also had a first-hand opportunity to explore the diet and habitat of a caterpillar!
