Year 1 - Creating Animal Patterns
Did you know that a polar bear's fur is not white? It's actually colourless!
It's been all about animals this week in our Year 1 class! Our students put their artistic skills to use as they designed animal patterns, and they even created a map of their own zoo! Speaking of zoos, did you know that over 600 million people visit zoos each year? Our Year 1 students also compared animal features to human features, and not only learned to make such observations but also put them into writing!

Year 2 - Making Cardboard Castles!
Last week, our Year 2 students had made crowns out of cardboard, and this week, they took the time to craft their own replicas of the historical architecture. Some beautiful palaces during the Tudor era include Hampton Court, Lambeth, Linlithgow and so many others! And our students had such a great time learning about them, and creating their very own royal homes!

Green Space and Education
A very interesting study led by UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, finds that the lack of green space can negatively impact students' education. This includes their risk-taking and decision-making. At BHA the sole aim of our new Peace Garden project is to bring our students an optimal environment for learning, interacting and more!

Year 4 - Science Experiment
Did you know that teeth are the hardest substance in the body? That's right, teeth are even stronger than bone! And that's why keeping them clean is so important. This week, our Year 4 students were exploring tooth decay using egg shells and after their experiment, our students also drafted detailed analyses on their findings. There's definitely some future dentists in the making!
