Year 4 - Making Lego Houses for Book Characters!
As part of their class reading, where our Year 4 students have been reading the award-winning novel 'The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane' (a story which follows the journey of a china rabbit and his various experiences) our students crafted their own colourful houses made out of Lego, bricks and blocks, truly bringing the story of Edward Tulane to life! Not only did this activity allow our students to spark their imagination and creativity, but it made the reading experience so much more engaging!

Year 3 - Learning About Forces!
As part of their studies regarding forces, our Year 3 students made their own seesaws using cardboard, in order to identify the different types of forces being applied to the mechanism! This hands-own crafting experiment gave our students an insight into how forces work, and also allowed them to grow in their team-building skills!

Bikeability Training!
This week, our students were also given the opportunity to receive expert cycling training; this exercise not only equipped our students with the technical skills of riding a bike, but also with confidence, social skills and independence! These training sessions have been really successful in instilling a re-ignited spark for cycling among our students!

Robotics Workshop
At BHA, we pride ourselves in giving our students ample opportunities to explore and delve into an array of topics, allowing them to develop their skills, expand and broaden their understanding and reinforce their knowledge. In order to achieve this, we held a three-day consecutive Robotics workshop - prepared by PrepareRobo, where each class was allocated a time slot; during which our students worked on coding and programming their own robots, as well as testing them out too! These workshops allowed our students to dip their toes into the world of computer engineering but in a fun and exciting way!
