Year 2 - Our 3D Maps!
Our Year 2 students made fantastic 3D maps during their art lessons this week! Their creativity shined through in the attention to detail, and the use of different techniques to create roads, gardens, houses, transportation and so much more! Working in pairs, our children also exercised their teamwork and cooperation skills!
Reception - 'Lost and Found'
In Reception, our children have been reading the book Lost and Found with their teachers, and the arctic adventure has encouraged them to participate in plenty of related activities such as learning about the South Pole, finding different objects in a picture, making their own penguins, writing about the story and so much more! The children were also able to recount much of the story, and showed an interest in the tale of the lost penguin and the boy who helped him!
Year 3 - Ancient Egyptian Booklets!
These amazing book covers were made by our Year 3 students, and though they haven't yet finished compiling all the information they've gathered throughout the research process, we know the completed products will be great!
Year 4 - Drawing Hibiscus Flowers!
We got to see our Year 4 students put their creative drawing skills to use as they used watercolour pencils to sketch out hibiscus flowers using a photo for reference! We're so impressed with their artistic skills!
