Year 3 - Making an ancient papyrus!
Did you know that papyrus paper was used as an ancient writing material for thousands of years, much longer than any other writing material?
As part of their in-depth research into the lives of Ancient Egyptians, our Year 3 students enjoyed a creative art lesson where they produced their own versions of papyrus paper using many techniques!
Year 2 - Watercolour castles
Medieval landscapes have been brought to life in our Year 2 students' art lesson, where they channeled their inner artists to draw and paint some wonderful castles! Their watercolour painting technique is absolutely flawless and they did so well in bringing their imaginations onto paper! Check out their great work!
Year 1 - Wool wrapping!
Wool wrapping is a fantastic, if not a little tricky, skill to master and our Year 1 students took on the challenge as they made their own wool-wrapping creations, which involved making intricate patterns using different-coloured wool over paper models they had made! We applaud our Year 1 students for making such wonderful artwork!
Eid Poster Competition Winners!
Well done to all our students who submitted an entry for our annual Eid Poster Competition and thank you to everyone who helped them make their stunning posters! Our student council had a tough time deliberating the winners from each year group, but they eventually managed to narrow down their list!
Well done to all the winners!
