Year 2 - Making Toy Shops!
Our Year 2 students had an exciting hands-on learning experience this week as they created their very own toy shops! With plenty of enthusiasm, they gathered objects, set up their stalls, and took on the roles of shopkeepers and customers. Through this fun activity, they practiced counting, handling money, and understanding the value of different coins—all while enjoying some imaginative play. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they added up prices and made "purchases."
Year 1 - Learning with Bee Bots!
Our Year 1 students had an exciting adventure with Bee-Bots this week! These little programmable robots helped our young learners explore direction, sequencing, and problem-solving in a fun and interactive way. With plenty of giggles and teamwork, the children programmed their Bee-Bots to navigate mazes, follow routes, and even dance across the classroom! It was fantastic to see their curiosity and confidence grow as they experimented with coding in a hands-on way. Who knew learning about technology could be this much fun?
A Successful Speech and Language Workshop!
We were delighted to host our Speech and Language Therapy workshop for parents, and it was a fantastic success! Parents gained valuable insights into supporting their children’s communication skills, learning practical tips and strategies from experts. Year 2 - Visiting the RAF Museum!
Our Year 2 students had an unforgettable day at the RAF Museum, where history came to life! They explored incredible aircraft, discovered fascinating facts about aviation, and even got hands-on in engaging workshops. From stepping inside a real cockpit to learning about the science of flight, the children were fully immersed in an exciting and educational experience. Ask your little pilots about their favorite part of the trip—was it seeing the gigantic planes up close or taking part in fun challenges?
