Year 3 - Making Cushions!
After weeks of unrelenting hard work, determination and drive, our Year 3 students were incredibly proud with their final cushions! They employed a variety of skills to complete these pouches, such as sewing, applying buttons and writing their names with thread. We think their final results look awesome, and we can't wait to see what new creative endeavour they go on next!
Nursery - Making Bats!
Our Nursery students are definitely getting into the wintry vibes as they made their own mini bats, which they created by cutting out shapes and gluing together, before adding some googly eyes on top! It certainly looked as if they were having fun during the activity, and we think they've done a fabulous job, especially since their bats are much cuter than the real thing!
Reflecting on our learning!
A few of our students delivered confident presentations on the different things they'd learned throughout the term, and focused on their favourite aspects of the knowledge they'd gained, how that knowledge would serve to benefit them, and this exercise allowed our students to engage with their classwork on a new level. It allowed them to share with the other classes what they've been working on, and listen to each other, too.
Year 5 - Sewing our names!
Our Year 5 class got busy with their sewing activity this week, and it was fantastic to see their artistic flair shine through in their patchwork designs. Our students explored different sewing techniques, and explored how to cut and arrange fabric pieces to suit their needs! We've definitely got a talented bunch of creatives at BHA!
Also, we love how are students are using their creative freedom to show solidarity with the people of Palestine!
