Year 3 - Visiting the school library!
Our enthusiastic readers love visiting our school library to pick out their next read! Whether they're itching for a mountainous adventure, a spine-chilling mystery or a laugh-out-loud comedy, our cosy library is well-equipped with a vast array of fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels and more! We've also got some cosy seating to ensure an optimum reading experience!
Year 2 - our perfect patchwork pouches!
We absolutely adore our Year 2 students' completed pouches, which they constructed using a variety of creative and technical skills such as sewing, sticking, cutting and gluing. Not to mention the fact that these pouches are functional, and capable of holding tiny trinkets in a safe place!
Riding Bikes with Bikeability!
Our Year 5 and 6 students have been whizzing around on wheels throughout this week, as they participated in Bikeability, a renowned cycle training programme. Whether or not they had already been familiar with the prospect of riding a bike, this week-long training has allowed our students to gain confidence when cycling, as well as instilling qualities of road safety and awareness. They've definitely mastered the art of maneuvering, controlling their speed, and following instructions, and we're incredibly impressed with how well they've done.
An Evening of Drama at ArtsDepot!
Our performing students did an absolutely spectacular job over at artdepo theatre yesterday! Our choir sang beautifully, and our theatre group brought the story of Maryam Poppins to life in an absolutely wonderful way! We commend all the hard work and effort that they've put in over these past few weeks to prepare, and we also thank all of you who were able to come and see the performance live! With your support, this event in collaboration with Harmony Primary School, and Islamia Primary School, was made possible, and it's great to see Muslim schools showcasing their talents on the big stage!
