
Year 6 - Interview with an AI WWII Soldier!
We had the pleasure of sitting in on an interview with a WWII (AI) soldier in Year 6! It was an excellent supplement to their History knowledge, and our students were able to immerse themselves into their learning through this new, creative outlet. From asking the AI soldier about the different battles that WWII comprised of, to enquiring about what the soldiers ate and drank, this was an excellent activity to get our students' brains whirring!

Reception - Making Spiders!
While reading Aaaarrgghh, Spider! by Lydia Monks, our Reception students brought the story to life by illustrating their very own creepy crawlies. In addition, they used papers and lolly-pop sticks to render the 8-legged arachnid to life!

Coffee Mornings
We at BHA love connecting with the community and our coffee mornings are the perfect opportunity to drop in and develop a partnership with our teachers here at school. The timings for each session run from 8:45am - 9:45am. Here are our termly coffee morning dates below:

Year 2 - Making Planes out of Recycling Materials!
Over the winter break, our Year 2 students were instructed to use recycling materials to make their own planes ... and they absolutely delivered! By manipulating materials such as cardboard, paper and plastic, our Year 2 students came up with masterful aviation aircrafts!
