A Sunny Playtime!
We had the pleasure of a sunny playtime today at school, and we had a great time interacting with our students as they explored the different outdoor activities. The football nets and basketball hoops are always popular, and being able to enjoy different activities allows our students to make the most of their playtime.
A big shout out also goes out to our Student Council members, who, without fail, always ensure to tidy all the equipment and restore it back to their places.
Enjoying our Peace Garden!
Our Peace Garden has certainly become a peaceful place for our students to wind down and relax after a morning of studying, and this week we caught our Year 6 students enjoying themselves in the natural environment. Having an environment like this gives our students the chance to interact with their surroundings in a positive and productive way, and especially on a sunny day like today, it's the perfect kind of place to read a book, talk to your friends, or even say hello to the family of snails that inhabit the garden.
Year 5 and 6 Make a Splash!
Our Year 5 and 6 students thoroughly enjoyed their first few swimming lessons over the course of this week! Fully decked out in their swim gear and goggles, our students received some fantastic swimming lessons. Not only is swimming a great sport, but as a skill, it is life-changing. At BHA, we encourage our students to try new things in regulated and safe environments, ensuring that our students are given the best experiences during their years at Primary School.
Year 6 - Our Mini Books!
Our Year 6 students put their creative and literary skill to use in a fun task where they made their own books; from designing the cover, to coming up with the blurb, not to mention writing the actual narrative, our students have done a fabulous job! We can't wait to read these stories and share some of our favourite snippets!
