Reception - Making Pasta!
Cooking has many benefits; not only do you get a nice meal at the end of it, but it's a way for children to experiment with Maths concepts such as counting and measuring, enhance their fine-motor skills through grating and cutting, and explore the idea of healthy eating in a much more creative way. Our Reception students had a lot of fun in the cafeteria where they had a go at making some healthy pasta, and judging by their smiling faces, they certainly had a good time!
Year 1 - Trip to Kew Gardens
Kew Gardens is a fantastic setting for outdoor learning, and our Year 1 students had so much fun participating in the different hands-on activities and workshops. Our students thrived in the new environment, and had a great time exploring the outdoors under the supervision of trained professionals!
A Great Eid Party!
Eid-ul-Adha's spiritual significance dates back thousands of years in Islamic history, beginning with the story of Ibrahim A.S and Ismail A.S, during which a sacrificial ram was sent down from the heavens by Allah S.W.T Himself. It's important for our children to recognise not only the historical importance of Eid, but also to see it as an Islamic occasion which should be celebrated and enjoyed. Our students took part in many fun activities over the course of the day, and we've got plenty of pictures for you browse through over on our Gallery page!
Year 3 - Our Trip to Hollywood Bowling!
Our Year 3 and 4 students took trips down to Hollywood Bowling, where they had great fun cheering on their friends during the game; aside from being a great exercise for the arms, bowling in teams also allowed all our students to engage in camaraderie and companionship outside of the classroom!
