Year 2 - Exploring Ruislip Woods!
Our Year 2 students also took a trip down to Ruislip Woods where they took a walk into the woods investigating the different types of minibeasts they'd come across, as well as exploring the concept of food chains! It's always great to see the curiosity of our students ignite as they embark on these fun adventures!
Year 6 - Residential trip to Kingswood!
If you follow us on our Instagram and Twitter pages (which we highly recommend that you do), then you would have seen our daily updates from our Year 6's residential trip over at Kingswood Centres! It was certainly a weekend filled with adventure and plenty of sporting activities; our students took the leap of faith by climbing a 15m pole, they burned off plenty of energy when building and testing out their own rafts, and they got to employ teamwork and strategy in three energetic games of laser tag (which were definitely enjoyed by both teachers and students!).
Our students dined in the canteen, played games of basketball, volleyball and dodgeball, and spun from great heights on the 3G swing! After partaking in great obstacle courses, quizzes and even a mini olympics, our students might have come home exhausted, but they were also very happy! It was definitely a fulfilling experience for all, and certainly one to remember.
Year 4 - Sketching Desserts
We took a peek into our Year 4's art lesson where we were introduced to their fantastic still-life inspired illustrations of various snacks and desserts. From Ahmed's tub of Pringles to Sulaiman's cool sushi drawing, our students shared the first step of their drawing process. We can't wait to see what their finished illustrations look like! Watch this space for more updates!
Year 3 - Illustrating our Own Comic Strips!
Our Year 3 class blended their creativity and incorporated it into their ICT lesson and the result are these fantastic illustrated comic strips that the students have made using an online software! Eager to share their creations, our Year 3 students proudly presented tales of dark and dangerous woods, dragons and superheroes and ... vampires? Each comic strip held not only an artistic essence but was also filled with so much character! We think our Year 3 students have done a great job, and we urge them to keep up the good work!
