An Amazing Science Workshop!
At BHA, we got in on the Science Day fun where all our classes (Reception to Year 6) enjoyed a series of science workshops. Our students learned all about making slime from scratch - an extremely popular activity - as well as the ins and outs of gravity and launching rockets!
Speaking of rockets, we were thrilled to gather the entire school body for the final experiment of the day, launching bottles of water (each filled at a different amount) into the sky! Thoroughly enjoyed by our students and staff members, we cannot wait to bring back Sublime Science for next year's Science Day too!
Ramadan Tent Project!
We'd like to inform you of the Ramadan Tent Project, a non-profit organisation with the aim of bringing communities together. Not only did this fantastic organisation launch a 'Ramadan Pavilion' at the V&A museum, but this year they're also producing 'My Open Iftar' packs which are available to purchase through their website. Year 5 - Mixed-Media Artwork!
It's no doubt that our students at BHA are particularly talented in their creative pursuits, and our Year 5 students are no exception to the creative flow. This week our students produced mixed-media layered landscapes on mountainous locations and we think they've done a superb job!
Year 3 - Parts of a Flower!
We continue with the plant-themed activities as we step inside our Year 3 classroom, where students have been identifying and exploring all the different parts of a plant. Plants are stunningly complex structures, and there's more to them than just leaves and stems and roots. The love of nature was ignited within our students through these lessons, and it's been fantastic hearing their feedback!
