An Upcoming Islamic Book Sale!
Reading is absolutely crucial for a child's development, enhancing their imaginations and nursing their creativity. But what is equally important is providing good books for our children to read. With new stories being published every year, it's easy for some great gems to slip under the radar, but the upcoming Islamic book sale run by our PTFA and the Islamic Human Rights Commission aims to bring great books right to you! We look forward to seeing you on Monday!

Year 3 - Trip to Kew Gardens!
Kew Gardens holds the title of Britain's oldest and largest wildlife conservation reserve; its 500-acre woodland is home to some of the most beautiful and rare botanical greenery. This week our Year 3 students had the opportunity to take a walk through its leafy reserves and they were enthralled with the stunning flowers and plants on display. Our students also had the opportunity to sketch out their own renditions of the beautiful plants, and we think they've done a great job! If you've not yet been to Kew Gardens yourselves, our Year 3 students would definitely recommend it!

Year 4 - 3D Objects and Coding!
ICT skills are absolutely crucial in young individuals, as they learn how to operate different Microsoft systems, make PowerPoints and navigate them with ease, but they also allow children to bring a new level of learning to their current topics of study. For instance, our Year 4 students practiced making 3D objects on an online software which definitely got their critical thinking gears whirring.

Year 3 - Making Beautiful Windchimes!
Year 3's beautiful windchimes created a dazzling display in their classroom, reflecting against the sun's rays but did you know that windchimes are more than just the pretty products of arts and crafts but archaeological finds dating back more than 5000 years? Yes, that's right! Windchimes have a huge historical significance and it was amazing to see our students create their very own replicas!
