Year 5 - Designing Rockets!
During our Year 5 students' Art lesson, our students crafted their very own rocket ships! This task allowed them to think out of the box, and experiment with different design features and colours. Aerospace engineering has never seemed quite so fascinating and we think our Year 5 students have done a fabulous job with their designs!
Year 6 - Watching the Railway Children
Following on from their research into WWII, our Year 6 students experienced their learning from another angle: by watching a screening of the Railway Children! It's a story of friendship and belonging, set during the tumultuous time of WWII, in which we follow a group of evacuees navigate the uncertain political landscape. Our students had a great time watching their History lessons come to life through a fictional piece, and we've heard glowing reviews of the movie from our students!
Year 3 - Visiting Our School's Library
Visiting our school's library is always such an exciting adventure for our students, as it gives them the opportunity to browse through different novels and stories at their own pace. By exploring different forms of literature outside of the classroom, our students can be inspired to read for pleasure, at their own liberty, and delve into stories that they've picked out themselves.
Gadgets and Gizmos - Our Robotics Workshop!
Have you ever wondered what it takes to build a robot? Well, our students at BHA have got you covered! During the first few days of this week, our Key Stage 1 and 2 students participated in thrilling Robotics workshops, tailored to their age-group, and thoroughly interactive. From using different coding programs and putting together all the nifty gadgets and gizmos, our students assembled their very own functioning robots!
