Adam and the Chocolate Factory!
A huge thanks goes out to all our parents and guests for attending our performance of Adam and the Chocolate Factory, our wonderful teachers for rehearsing with our students, our community for contributing towards props and costumes and, of course, our fantastic students for putting on such a stellar performance! Hats off to our entire BHA team for such a successful event!

Year 6 - Making Mexican Recipes!
Hola Mexico! Our Year 6 send greetings from Mexico, the destination of their Topic for this term and they've certainly been busy. As you might recall from a previous issue of our newsletter, our Year 6 students created their own Mexican recipes using Microsoft Publisher and this week, they were given the opportunity to produce those recipes in some mouth-watering dishes! Our Year 6's creations included nachos, guacamole made with different Mexican spices, and a refreshing salad too!
Who knew that learning could be so delicious?

Year 3 - Making Volcano Cupcakes!
Our Year 3s certainly had an explosive cookery session this week as they made volcano cupcakes, stuffed with an array of goodies at their centre! Our students exercised their culinary skills during this task, as they had the opportunity to handle cooking equipment and follow recipes. We also developed a sense of teamwork and cooperation and the result of our Year 3's time in the kitchen is simply delicious!

Year 4 - Trip to the London Aquarium!
As part of their ongoing investigation into the Blue Abyss, a deep-dive into all things marine-related, our Year 4s took their learning outside of the classroom in a fun and educational trip to the London Aquarium! There they got acquainted with a wide variety of sea creatures, such as jellyfish, starfish and more, in their natural habitats, right up close! We're especially privileged that, in the UK, we have nature's beauty right at our fingertips and we think it's safe to assume that our Year 4 students had a fantastic time with their exploration!
