Year 3 - Exploring at Welsh Harp
There's nothing our students like more than an interactive experiment, and our Year 3's trip to Welsh Harp provided them with a plethora of information and interactive workshops, in which they made their own volcanoes, investigated different types of rock, and explored the great outdoors! Here are some pictures from their trip!

Year 4 - Mola Art!
The Mola art form (not to be confused with 'molar', which is decidedly more uninteresting) originated in Columbia, where indigenous Guna women painted geometric designs using available natural colours. Our Year 4 students enjoyed creating their own Mola art variations, taking inspiration from the vivid work of these women, as well as exploring the history of this colourful art style!

Year 1 - Claude Monet Inspired Artwork!
Claude Monet, most famously known as the founder of Impressionism, has been the focus of our Year 1 class's Art lessons. His colourful paintings have provided the foundations for our students in Year 1 to get crafty with a variety of different textures and materials, including paper, tissue paper, cardboard and more. We're so impressed with their finished products!

Year 2 - Exploring our Local Area!
This week our Year 2 students took a trip around the local area where they used maps to enhance their navigational skills around different roads and streets. From identifying an array of symbols to examining different physical and geographical features, our Year 2 students further strengthened their Geography skills and knowledge!
