Year 2 - A Fun Maths Lesson
There's always something interesting to look forward to during our Maths lessons at BHA, and today our Year 2 class was learning all about grouping, sharing and dividing by 5 using different mediums such as cubes to help them with their counting!

Year 3 - Homework Debate
Should homework be banned? It's been a question for the ages, disputed by government officials and students alike, and our Year 3 class refined their debating skills as they held their very own discussion on the topic. In groups of four, our students worked together to produce a list of pros or cons, and then took turns presenting their ideas in the form of a constructive debate. It was an exercise that helped them view ideas through a wider lens, and they had a great time speaking about a topic they were passionate about.

Our Diwali Assembly
At BHA, we pride ourselves in our Islamic ethos, curriculum and education, however we also recognise the importance of inclusivity, and we make efforts to constantly educate our children on other religions, cultures and communities. This week, our Year 6 class held an engaging Diwali assembly for our Primary students in which they informed us all about the story behind Diwali, and the different customs and traditions which take place during the holiday!

Year 6 - Posters on Mexico!
Our Year 6 students are travelling to Mexico for this half-term, and this week, they sharpened their research skills in order to find facts, figures and more for their posters. Did you know that Mexico has over 85 attractions? Or that you can purchase a stay in a 5-star hotel for the price of a regular hotel in the UK? Known for its delicious cuisine and stunning beaches, Mexico's features were perfectly encapsulated in our Year 6 class's stunning artwork!
