Year 6 - Making WWII Shelters
WWII was an event that had shaken the course of events during the 20th century, and our Year 6 students have been studying about the events of the war, as well as the societal and emotional effects that it triggered. As part of their learning, our Year 6 students put together their own Anderson shelters, a type of air-raid shelter common during this period. By using materials such as cardboard, paper, paint and more, our Year 6 students brought a little piece of British history to life in their classrooms!

Year 3 - Stone Age Jewellery
The Stone Ages are known for many things, their artwork, their metal creations and the fact that there was no electricity, but did you know that during prehistoric jewellery was quite common during this time? And our Year 3 students constructed their very own Stone Age accessories, modelling them on different examples they'd seen!

Year 1 - Rocket Ship Fun!
As part of our Year 1 class's Moon Zoom topic, our students further continued their deep-dive exploration into outer space. Where they created their own colourful planets last week, this week they took on the role of astronauts and outer space explorers, designing their very own rocket ships to take them on their intergalactic journeys!

Year 5 - WWII Collage Artwork
Art and History have always been interwoven, and we at BHA love exploring different historical movements and time periods through paintings and other artwork! This week, our Year 5 class produced their own collages inspired by WWII, and we think their work perfectly captures the turbulence that was conceived during this particular time in British History.
