Year 3 - Cooking Show Role Plays!
The food-related fun continued this week in our Year 3 class who, as part of their English lesson, wrote their very own MasterChef cooking show scripts! After looking at a sample and watching a clip, our Year 3 students put on their acting hats and they did an absolutely fantastic job. With contestants, chefs and judges, it certainly seemed as if we'd stepped right onto the set of a famous cooking show too!

Year 4 - Ancient Sumerian Name Carvings!
Beautiful artwork was created by our Year 4 students, who put their creativity and imagination into carving their names into clay! But not just any names, our Year 4 class travelled back to the time of the Ancient Sumerians and transcribed their names using their alphabet-cuneiforms (languages using logos instead of words, which were particularly prominent in the Ancient Middle East). We think our Year 4 students did a great job, and it's been a treat to learn all about Sumerian civilisation and history along with them too!

A Special Playground Visitor!
Our feathery friend visited us in our playground during lunchtime, and our students were absolutely thrilled with its arrival!

Year 1 - Outer Space Fun!
As part of their investigation into outer space, our Year 1 class got busy this week making their very own outer space creations! Using felt, glitter and paper, our Year 1 students captured the beauty of outer space, and they certainly had a fun time putting their artistic skills to use!
